This is Castle  Howard…isn’t it lovely!  It is absolutely  fabulous and it’s one of my favorites.  Did you know that @castlehoward was used in the Bridgerton @netflix Series as the home for the newly married Duke and Duchess of Hastings? How cool is that?

I feel very fortunate because I’ve visited twice.  I was so excited when I recognized the property and some of it’s rooms when it debuted on episode 6.   The very first scene, when the newlyweds horse and carriage pulls up to “Clyvedon Castle” – Castle  Howard, whilst the staff is  waiting for them in perfect formation; you can immediately see the grandeur and beauty of the estate.   As the scene comes to an end,  the Duke picks up Daphne and carries her thru the threshold; and  that’s when you get a glimpse of the beautifully painted dome.  It gives you a little taste of what the castle is truly like on the inside, incredibly spectacular!

They used so much of the castle, so many rooms are in the scenes in this episode.  I loved  it when Mrs. Colson took Daphne on her very first tour of Clyvedon, the turquoise tea room, halls and stairway entry were featured,  in addition to several other rooms.  I was going thru my photos  trying to see if I have some good shots of them, and as you can see, I have a couple.  I can’t wait to visit again, and try to see which room was their bedroom , I haven’t figured that one out, lol!

I don’t know about you, but I can’t seem to get enough of the Bridgerton Series…and can’t wait to see what season 2 has in store for all of us – I am truly addicted 🤫!!!!!!
