LOL!!! 😂 Happy National Bird 🦅 Day! My apologies, I couldn’t help myself. So what if someone took a Beatles song and made it corny…I happen to love ❤️ it!

I was definitely trying to get a little selfie love from this owl 🦉 and it ended up being a pretty cool picture. Thank you to my colleague Kayla Ziegler the owner of Destination Europe for taking this photo 📷 of me, and to Real Yorkshire Tours for introducing us to our little friend and more importantly to the Swinton Estate .

The Swinton Castle Estate is located in Yorkshire England and has a lot to offer for any traveler wanting to get off the beaten track. Having The Birds 🦅 of Prey Centre can make staying there an extraordinary experience, regardless of your travel style. I don’t know about you, but holding an owl while trying to get a closeup 📷is pretty high on my COOL meter!!!! Even if you can’t fit in an overnight stay, then you should make time for afternoon tea ☕️ and schedule a visit to the centre at the very least. It’s a hands on interaction and you will get to enjoy the personalities and behavior of a large variety of owls, hawks, and falcons that are currently on display.

Of course this will have to wait until it ’s safe, but once it is, you really should check it out for yourself! You will not believe what this 20,000 acres and 4-Star Castle 🏰 Estate has to offer. They have a world class spa, cookery school, Samuel’s – an award-winning restaurant, a Cafe Bistro, a Country Club & Spa, Tree Lodges and you can even go Glamping 🏕 if that’s more your style. Regardless of whether you come for a day or or a little longer (stay longer), there’s something for everyone at the Swinton Estate. My only regret…not spending more time there. Next time I visit Yorkshire England, you can bet that I will be spending a least a couple of days at this beautiful property. I’ve gotta check out their Spa and get a massage!
