“Without courage, all others virtues lose their meaning.” – Winston Churchill
I thought that this quote was appropriate for Remembrance 🌺Day. For our American followers, Remembrance Day is the UK’s equivalent to our Veterans Day. Except, that the British do it a hell of a lot better than we do.
I’ve been in the UK for 4 Remembrance Day’s and what I love ❤️ the most are the Commemorative Poppies. A lot, if not most citizens wear a small pin poppy 🌺 on their coat, blazer or sweater; I have one on my winter coat, and wear it proudly. In addition, all the cathedrals and churches ⛪️ have poppies and crosses on their lawns commemorating all their fallen soldiers. At the Tower Of London, the poppies are a sea of red, and look beautiful. I love the way the UK honors their veterans, retired soldiers and military personnel.
Our fallen soldiers were the most courageous, and in the US & UK we honor those who gave the ultimate sacrafice for our freedom. In the US 🇺🇸 with our Veteran’s Day on the 11th , and in the UK 🇬🇧 it is on the 8th of November. Regardless of what side of the pond you live on, let’s all take a moment to thank those individuals and their families for their ulitimate sacrifice.
Stay safe, and remember, if you leave your place, cover your face 😷.

“Once the travel bug bites there is no known antidote, and I know that I shall be happily infected until the end of my life.” – Michael Palin. A life-long entrepreneur, I started working for our family business’ at the age of 7; not realizing then that I have found my career path. From working the register, cooking, cleaning and assisting with closing, I learned at an early age the value of an honest living and a days hard work. From there I started my first business at 11, and have never looked back. After stumbling into the Travel Industry in December 2001, I knew I found my dream industry. It actually married all the things I loved most in life, International Business, Travel and Photography. In August 2013, after a little more then 12 years in the Travel Industry, I left the company I was working for, and ventured off on my own. On September 17th, 2013 my dream came true, and I founded Indulgent Vacations & Destinations, Inc.. My only regret was not doing it sooner. Fast foward to 2020… here I am, blogging about travel around Europe, and The America’s, branding Indulgent along the way. Doing my dream job, which doesn’t feel like work at all. I absolutely LOVE what I do, and enjoy inspiring my friends, followers, and colleagues.
